Basement Barbell Club

The Basement Barbell Club is a well-equipped barbell club, focused on teaching Olympic Weightlifting, though we are open to strength athletes of all types. We are a safe, inclusive, alternative and affordable environment.

Group Circuit Training

The Basement is known for it’s group circuit training. High-intensity, short-duration circuit training at the Basement is the type of metabolic training that breaks the mold of traditional group exercise. You can use this circuit format with recreational exercisers—to jumpstart their routines—or intensify it to challenge your fittest participants and athletes with great success. Join our collection of diverse individuals and challenge yourself at YOUR level – and have fun doing it!

The Basement Running Club

The Basement Running Club was founded to provide an outlet for amateur runners in the northern delaware community.  We welcome runners of all abilities, so whether you’re race-ready or more of a casual sidewalk strider, we’re happy to have your company.

Personal Training

Our certified personal training will help you reach YOUR fitness goals TODAY, not someday.

In order to avoid injury and reach your fitness goals. you need to be sure you are using the correct technique and form.  Improper form will result in a less than optimal workout and therefore limit your results. Our trainers will guide and teach you how to get the most out of your workout, every workout.

We help you feel accountable for your workout. This is your body and your goals, we are just here to help you achieve them. Knowing someone is counting on you to show up is one more thing to help keep you motivated.
